Terms & Conditions

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") set forth the conditions for the use of the mobile application "Luno Reader" (hereinafter referred to as "Service") provided by the developer. Users shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms after agreeing to them.

Article 2 (User Registration)

  1. Users may use the Service upon agreeing to these Terms.
  1. If the user is a minor, they must obtain consent from their legal guardian before using the Service.

Article 3 (Fees and Payment Methods)

  1. The basic use of the Service is free of charge, except for certain paid features.
  1. When using paid features, users shall pay the prescribed fees in accordance with the method specified separately by the Developer.
  1. The payment method, payment timing, and refund conditions shall follow what is displayed in the app or specified separately.
  1. Fees already paid will not be refunded unless the cause is attributable to the Developer.

Article 4 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service:
  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  1. Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service
  1. Unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of information
  1. Acts that cause disadvantage or damage to other users or third parties
  1. Using the Service for commercial purposes without permission

Article 5 (Suspension of Service Provision)

The Developer may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service without prior notice to the user if any of the following apply:
  1. When performing maintenance or updates of the system
  1. When the provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as fire, power outage, earthquake, or natural disaster
  1. When the Developer deems it necessary to suspend or discontinue the Service

Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. The intellectual property rights, including copyrights, images, and programs related to the Service, belong to the Developer or third parties with legitimate rights.
  1. Users shall not copy, repurpose, or distribute these without prior permission from the Developer.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or usefulness of the content of the Service or any information obtained through the Service.
  1. The Developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service by the user.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

The Developer may change these Terms at any time without prior notice to the user if deemed necessary. The revised Terms shall become effective when displayed within the Service.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  1. Any disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Developer’s place of residence.
